Ce mult te-am iubit –

Visul meu, infinit !

Pe un pisc te-am inaltat,

Te-am admirat și te-am adulat.            

De cum se lăsa înserarea
Îți presăram cărarea

– În al meu univers –

Cu petale de vers.

Tremurând de nerăbdare

Aşteptam, pe cărare,

A inimii mele aleasă,

Steaua mea norocoasă,

Cu ochii care m-au vrăjit,

Și gura ce m-a înebunit,

Să apară, din zare,

Iubirea mea cea mare!

Şi, ca o zână, apăreai                       

– Coborâtă chiar din rai –,

În păr cu petale de flori

Şi ochi-ţi surâzători.

Din ochi-ţi ţâşnea iubire

Şi radiai de  fericire.

Îmi săreai în braţe – îndată –

Pentru a fi sarutată.

Buzele ne erau lipite,

Braţele înlănţuite

Şi ne făceam jurăminte

De iubire, până la moarte.

You strewn path

- In my world -

The petals of line.



Trembling with impatience

Expected, the path,

A choice of my heart,

My lucky star,



With eyes that have bewitched me,

And why did the mouth of fools,

Appear in the distance,

My big love!



And, as a fairy, appeared

- Lower the very bad -

In hair with flower petals

And your smiling eyes.



From gushing love your eyes

And radiate happiness.

I jumped in my arms - soon -

To be kissed.



Our lips were glued

chained arms

And we did oaths

Love, to death.
